In partnership with Apple, Beats has come up with some new headphone models
Designed as an activewear, the headset can be adjusted to the ears and is targeted at gym goers or people who run regularly. Furthermore, the Powerbeats Pro is much lighter and smaller than its predecessors.
The specs of the wireless activewear
Equipped with a H1 chipset, the Powerbeats Pro has been compared to the AirPods. This is not a surprise as Beats is, after all, a subsidiary of the technology giant. The headphones offer 9 hours of playback time and can be charged directly in their cases. Volume and track controls are integrated separately in each bud. Siri is also featured on the headphones.

A word about the brand
Launched in 2006 by the music producer Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, Beats’ main business line has been focused on headphones and speakers. In 2014, Tim Cook’s company bought the brand for a record purchase of US$3 billion. Other products developed include car audio, software as well as an online music service.
Availability of the wearable Projected to be available in around 20 countries, the Powerbeats Pro has been priced at $249.95 in the US. Furthermore, the headphones will be released gradually as from May 2019 on their official website.
