Expected to debut on the European markets, the Renault Captur has been unveiled by the French manufacturer. Its modifications can already be seen from the outside as the car now has a sportier look. One of the most important aspect of the vehicle is its cockpit which offers a 9.3-inch multimedia display which can be tilted towards the driver. There is also an additional screen on the dashboard.
Additionally, the Captur is set to be equipped with both petrol and diesel engines. As from next year however, the auto will feature the E-Tech Plug-in, a hybrid technology option. Renault is also offering numerous possible customisations such as a range of colours for rear view mirrors, roof panelling as well as interior settings.

The French manufacturer’s automobile also features several driving aids such as the company’s Highway and Traffic Jam Companion. This is reportedly a move towards self-driving vehicles. Furthermore, another aid designed for the drivers is called the active regenerative braking and detects pedestrians and cyclists.

The Captur is projected to be delivered around the same time as its rival, the Peugeot 2008. This means that the SUV will be released sometime at the end of this year. A best-seller for the automaker, 1.2 million units of the transport have been sold internationally.
