‘Elva’ is the latest automobile from McLaren
Unveiled as a part of the Ultimate Series line-up, the Elva joined a collection of the most robust cars in the industry. Taking its inspiration from the past, McLaren pays tribute to its founder as well as autos from the 1960s with its new range of vehicles. The newly revealed car does not have any windows nor roof similarly to the original model.
What is under the roadster’s hood?
Regarding its specifications, the Elva promises an earth-shattering experience due to what is hidden beneath its carbon fibre exterior. The British manufacturer equipped its two-seater with an 804hp engine, a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. The McLaren vehicle can also reach a speed of 62 mph in just three seconds.

The design of the car
Furthermore, the fact that the Elva can attain such a high speed so quickly has been attributed to its carbon fibre body and chassis. This choice of material enabled McLaren to produce its lightest road automobile ever. Additionally, despite having no windows or roof, the vehicle incorporates an aerodynamic design which permits a calm environment in the cockpit.
Price and availability of the two-seater
A limited edition which will include only 399 copies, the Elva is expected to be priced around 150000 euros. The cost is said to be steep due to its high degree of rarity. Deliveries are predicted to start late 2020.
