Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Z Flip

As from February 14, 2020, Samsung has made its latest smartphone available, the Galaxy Z Flip. The head of product marketing, Rebecca Hirst, presented the model at an event in San Francisco. She stated, It changes everything -- space, size, and the very way we use it.  This type of folding handset was first introduced by brands such as Huawei and Royole.

At first glance, the Galaxy Z Flip looks like a pocket powder case or a small mirror. However, upon closer inspection, the smartphone has a 6.7-inch screen. The latter features an ultrathin glass which can be opened and closed more than 200 000 times. Scratch-resistant, the device can be used to make calls and displays notifications while being folded.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Flip is quite a powerful device. The mobile is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 flash storage. However, more memory cannot be added as it does not come with a microSD card slot. Additionally, the phone comes with a 3,300 mAh battery as well as two 12-megapixel cameras.

Pricing and additional details about the Samsung phone

Regarding the cost of the Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung has lowered it from the Galaxy Fold, which was at $2,000, to the price of $1,380. Another mobile, equipped with the 5G technology, the Galaxy S20, was presented.
