Having accommodated us with class performances ever since his timeless one in the movie Traffic, Benicio Del Toro will be back in a set of mind-blowing movies in the coming year. The most expected of all these is definitely Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy, which is set for release later this year. Another film in which the actor will play a major role is Paradise Lost. He will portray the role of drug lord Pablo Escobar in the latter movie.

Del Toro’s rumoured attachment to Sicario seems to be the icing on the cake. Although nothing has been confirmed as to the actor’s participation in the project yet, an article on Variety seems definitely sure that Benicio Del Toro will have a part to play in Villeneuve film. It has not yet been said whether he will be an antagonist or the main character. More news about the actor’s involvement in Sicario will surely emerge in the coming weeks.

Sicario, which means hitman in Spanish, is a movie that will tell the story of an Arizona cop who goes to Mexico with a bunch of mercenaries to hunt a drug lord down. The plot, written by Taylor Sheridan, albeit not being complicated, shows much promise!
